Our Sessions - What to Expect
Short term counselling
Short term therapy usually between six and twelve sessions is helpful for specific problems such as communication issues, conflict within relationships and parenting challenges.
Longer term counselling
Long term therapy is usually longer than twelve weeks and kept open-ended with regular reviews. This is helpful for deeper issues that impact on your quality of life. This might be anxiety, depression, bereavement, trauma, abuse, low self esteem, isolation and life changes.
Length and type of sessions
Each session lasts for 50 minutes and we meet on a weekly basis. I offer face-to-face sessions and online sessions via Zoom/Skype.
