Our Sessions - What to Expect
How many sessions and how long does each session last?
Short term counselling is between six and twelve sessions. It’s helpful for specific problems such as communication issues, conflict within relationships and parenting challenges.
Long term therapy is usually longer than twelve weeks and kept open-ended with regular reviews. This is helpful for deeper issues that impact on your quality of life. This might be anxiety, depression, bereavement, trauma, abuse, low self esteem, isolation and life changes.
Each session lasts for 50 minutes and we meet on a weekly basis.
